Internship Information

Priority Productions hires interns usually for ten week periods in the Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer. Interns work closely with Howard Weinberg in his office on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Responsibilities include research related to documentary projects; some web site design; assisting in production, editing, promotion, publicity, proposal writing and general office work. Interns will gain a first-hand experience of independent documentary filmmaking.

Applicants must currently be undergraduate college students and should have a strong interest and some experience in one or more of the following areas: documentary film, journalism, writing, Web and graphic design, government, art.

Past interns have majored or minored in English Literature, Theatre, Film and Television Studies, Government, History, Studio Art, Computer Science, Spanish and French.
